Inaugural Hong Kong Mediation Lecture
The inaugural Hong Kong Mediation Lecture, which was attended by over 80 legal and mediation practitioners, was one of the prominent events during the "Hong Kong Legal Week 2019".
We are happy to have invited Professor Jack J. Coe Jr. to speak at the Lecture. The topic of the Lecture was “The Benefits and Technical Challenges of Combining Mediation with Arbitration as Complementary Processes”
Mr Simon Chapman, partner from Herbert Smith Freehills, also thinks the Lecture is very useful for letting more people understand mediation. As announced during the Lecture, we are delighted that Herbert Smith Freehills will be joining the DOJ in organising the Hong Kong Mediation Lectures in the next 5 years in order to help promoting mediation in hong Kong.
We trust that the audience has gained valuable knowledge from the Lecture. See you all again next time!
